Adaptive observer for state variables of a time-varying nonlinear system with unknown constant parameters and delayed measurements

Unknown constant parameters estimation problem for a nonlinear time-varying system with delayed measurements is considered. The objective of this work to design an adaptive observer system. must provide asymptotic convergence the unknown estimates their true values. main idea behind method perform parametrization initial dynamical based on GPEBO (Generalized Parameter Estimation Based Observer) technology and build linear regression model. identification model performed using least square forgetting factor. This develops previously published approach case systems measurements. New algorithm can be applied technical tasks, such as condition control automatic design.
